HIGH SCHOOL: 2D + 3D
Jardine teaches a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional courses to 9th-12th grade students at St. Ursula Academy, including Art Fundamentals, Sculpture, and Community Art + Production. In each class, she teaches foundational studio skills and facilitates experiences that allow students to experiment with materials and collaborate with their peers.
She also teaches a variety of weekly classes and summer camps at the Toledo Museum of Art, including Drawing Intensive, Intro to Painting, Mural Painting, Explorations in Mixed Media, and exhibit specific courses. Jardine connects the curriculum to the museum's collection of artwork.
Jardine's goal as an educator is to empower youth through the tools of self-expression, problem-solving, and collaboration. Her teaching approach and practice is culturally responsive and anti-racist.
